Samantha Diorio-Torres

Sam is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She earned her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Southern Connecticut State University. Sam has experience working with children ages 2 to 18 across settings, including the public school, special education school, and private practice setting. She specializes in play-based, child-centered therapy where the utmost importance is to create an environment that makes a child feel safe and regulated. Sam is passionate about collaborating with other therapeutic clinicians and the families of her clients to ensure a holistic approach is taken to best support a child’s individual needs.
