Jaden Gonzalez

Jaden is a speech-language pathology assistant. He holds a B.A. in Linguistics and Education Studies from Yale University. As an undergrad, Jaden took a particular interest in gestalt ("whole chunk") processing as a mechanism of natural language acquisition. Since graduating in 2025, he has provided direct support services to students with various medical and behavioral profiles across school, home, and clinical settings in New York and Connecticut. A Puerto Rican native of the Bronx, he brings both personal and professional insight into the ways language, culture, and identity intersect. Fluent in English, Spanish, and French, he is passionate about understanding how dialectal and multilingual variation influence communication, learning, and social cognition. He is also deeply committed to confronting social biases related to language and neurodivergence head on in his approach to the field. He aims to return to school in the recent future to become a licensed SLP. His long-term professional goals include teaching at the collegiate level and potentially open a practice of his own.
