Dr. Lindsay Scott
SLPD, CCC-SLP
Owner
Lindsay has been a practicing SLP since 2013. She began her career as an ABA therapist treating children with autism and worked for over 10 years with children on the autism spectrum of varying ages and abilities. Prior to opening her private practice in 2013, Lindsay worked as a speech therapist in school and early intervention settings. Lindsay recognized the significant communication challenges of these children and was inspired to pursue a degree in speech-language pathology as a result.
Currently, Lindsay provides pediatric speech and language services to children of all ages with a variety of communication challenges. Conducts Individualized Educational Evaluations (IEEs). Provides consultative services to school districts.
Dynamic individualized intervention plans based on your child’s learning strengths and communication needs are the cornerstones of Lindsay’s therapeutic approach. Proficient diagnostic evaluation and therapy are combined with proven instructional strategies such as task analysis, motivation, child choice, and (natural) reinforcement to increase your child’s engagement in activities and maximize learning and generalization.
